Black Walnut Tree at Indigenous Burial Mound Casts Sturdy Shadow

A splendid centuries-old black walnut tree stands sentry at Buffalo's Seneca Indian Park, an ancient burial mound. The mid-morning sun on an early August day used the tree's sturdy frame to create a deep, prominent, sloping shadows.
