13th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Altered Images

There is a small local duck pond in my town that connects to a creek. I used to fish this pond every Saturday with my father as a child. Revisiting this pond with my best friend's young cousin flooded me with memory and emotion, and so this shot was captured to commemorate my favorite spot from which to look out on the water.
