Black Woman
"Black People" is a digitally manipulated, mix media series combined with portraits and self-portraits and the use of butterflies. Butterflies are forever, they are the gatekeepers of pollination, which produces the harvest. I'm comparing this to black people. I literally make the myself and the models the color black which is inspired by Kerry James Marshall. Black people are forever since they are the beginning and the reason for everyone else's existence.
