This is a portrait of a woman that feels she has no identity. As she creeps in the darkness, she is alone and worthless. The light in the background, camera left, indicates that there is always hope--light at the end of the tunnel--if she can just find her way out of the darkness. The model and I collaborated to create a renaissance-style image that was still a bit modern.
