"Bleeding Heart" was shot at the beginning of the Spring season at a greenhouse in Fairbanks, Alaska. This flower takes me back to my childhood. As a kid, my neighbors Sherm and June were like grandparents to my sister and I. They had a beautiful backyard where I first saw Bleeding Hearts. I found it incredible that a flower existed in the shape of a heart, and still do to this day.
