Bliznitsya
I wandered alone through the Ukrainian Carpathians, where silence sits heavier than the clouds. Days passed with no voices but the wind cutting across the ridgelines, and the loneliness sharpened my senses instead of dulling them. Up there, every detail felt amplified — the shifting fog, the brittle crunch of the snow crust, the way the light carved whole worlds out of emptiness. Solitude became a guide rather than a burden, letting me meet the landscape on its own terms. This photograph is one of those moments when the mountains opened briefly and let me see their quiet, enormous breath.
