Each spring, thousands gather along Washington’s Tidal Basin to watch the cherry blossoms peak. I found a quiet spot between the crowds where a low branch framed the Jefferson Memorial perfectly. The moment captures the mix of calm and celebration that defines D.C. during blossom season.
