This is a photograph of dusk falling on the banks of Omo River, Ethiopia. My traveling companions and I had become stuck in the mud and were facing the night sleeping in our vehicles near the small settlement at Omorate. We enjoyed a few peaceful minutes as the sun went down and with it went our hopes of reaching our camp that night.
