This image shows a Blue Bolt shrimp (Caridina cantonesis) grazing on algae in my aquarium. Blue bolt shrimp were selectively bred to display their striking blue appearance. Their wild-type ancestors are almost transparent in colour. It is crazy what selective breeding can achieve.
