Bluebird bathing
I love these beautiful bluebirds. They are my favorite backyard birds. Every spring they return to my backyard to raise their young. This year, however, they were especially troubled by the house wrens. After several setback, the first female left and the patient male bird waited for several weeks, and found another female, then successfully raised 3 young birds. A few days ago, this young bluebird returned her bird place and enjoyed a cool autumn bath in the fry pan I put out as water dish for them in the summer.
