I wanted to go somewhere for Mother's Day just to get out, so my husband took me to Navasota, Texas Everything was closed down but I found this beautiful wall relief and walked through and took several pictures. I did not know that Navasota, Texas was the Blues Capital of Texas where Mance Lipscomb (Beau De Glen Lipscomb) had lived (April 9 1895 - Jan 30-1976). An awesome piece of Texas history.
