I have spent three years trying to get a quality photo of this bobcat that I have regularly gotten glimpses of on trail cameras that I have set up in its territory. In this shot it is making a rare daylight appearance, walking down a cottonwood log that it occasionally uses to cross a damp area. This shot is the culmination of many hours of effort and countless failures over the past 3 years. It felt as though the cat finally had mercy on me and allowed me a chance to get this shot.
