Bobo-Dioulasso mosque
In Bobo Dioulasso, the second largest city of Burkina Faso, a Western Africa country, lies this impressive mud-brick mosque. It was built in the end of the 19th century and is an outstanding example of Sahel-style mud architecture, with conical towers and wooden struts (which both support the structure and act as scaffolding during re-plastering efforts).
