Bobwhite Quail-Memories Rekindled
Bobwhite Quail-Memories Rekindled. Growing up, the Bobwhite Quail was a highly cherished wild bird. We frequently heard their call and tried, mostly unsuccessful, to call them up. Many years passed when we no longer enjoyed hearing the wonderful call. Then last year (2020), we were overjoyed to hear a wonderful remnant from years past, the call of the Bobwhite Quail. I recorded that call and was amazed when something wonderful happened. The Bobwhite in my picture responded by coming into our yard. Then, beyond all hopes and expectations, he remained for a sufficient time for me to get his photograph.
