I was in a zodiac from our cruise ship zipping through the water with 13 other passengers from the ship. We were at Pléneau Island in an area of the Antarctica known as the “Iceberg Graveyard”. I looked behind the zodiac and saw gentoo penguins that were “porpoising” through the water. I turned around, knelt on the bottom of the bobbing zodiac and shot away.
