18th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
Bornean Pygmy Elephant
On search at the Kinabatangan River, I was lucky after a couple days of finding a big herd of elephants. The herd is said to consist of more than 100 individuals, which represents about 10% of the whole population.
