Boselaphus tragocamelus(blue cow and nilgai)

This picture shows vulnerability of wildlife. Due to human selfishness forest cuts and animals lot their house and peace. In this picture, Boselaphus tragocamelus(nilgai) is shown. It is special animal. It is found in Indian subcontinent. In India it seen in forest and grassland. It is going to endanger due to continuous forest cutting and hunting for meat. Habit and habitat- it prefers areas with short busties and scattered trees and in grassland. It grazes and browse with grass as the main source of their diet. Features- it has a mare on the nape and back, a hair pennant in the middle of the underside of the neck, white markings on cheek and edges of the lips, a white throat patch, a long neck, barrel like chest, strong slender legs, a hock length cow's tail end in a black tuft and stocky body.
