They were bad days for the fishing community of Don Juan. The rains had caused the nearby rivers to swell and the "aguaje" (a very high tide) had prevented them from going out to catch shrimp. Some children, after doing their schoolwork, tried to help feed the family by catching small catfish from the shores. And the rains did not stop...
