BRAHMINY KITE CATCH THE FROG
This species among the hawks is abundantly found in all parts of India, specially on the sea coasts. Monglajodi, an extension of the lake Chilika in Orissa is a natural habitat of this bird. During one of my visits there I found this truly expressive event, which I could capture. Brahminy kites are bright rust colored in the upper part, the head being white down to abdomen. Among the edibles of this kite are almost all aquatic small animals and also those on the land like lizards, fishes, frogs, land crabs etc.
