15th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
Breaking ice
Lago Argentino ( in Argentinean Patagonia) is dotted by icebergs that break off from the several glaciers surrounding the lake. This one broke up in half in front of my eyes. It was an amazing spectacle.
