Breeding Plumage Common Loon
Most loons that are seen in Northwest Washington are in winter plumage. However, this loon was a little late in changing plumage , giving me an opportunity to nice shot of a summer plumage bird in the fall, when many Common Loons are in the process of changing into there winter look.
