During quarantine I took up two hobbies: gardening and macro photography. These kept me busy and suited each other very well. I noticed late into summer that between the branches of my rose bush a single zinnia flower reached out. The dark green leaves of the rose bush provided a nice contrast to the light and soft, pink, and washed colors of this older zinnia.
