A sudden bolt of color! Riding with a private guide I espied: a sculpture? water tower? statue? structure? Pondering this for 2 years, I emailed my guide. It is a beautifully painted monument shaped like a wine carafe dating back to the Hittite Empire of 2000BC in tribute to the Artisans of Cappadocia.
