Brilliant Pollen
The unusual, yellow clusters are the stems of pollen in one of our home's many annual flowers. While the general view of flowers are very pretty (the petals and leaves), I've always been fascinated by the brilliance of the pollen color and its soft texture. I wanted to be able to capture it in a way that was different from simply "zooming in" on a photo. It's an entirely different part of flowers that not many people pay attention to and I wanted to bring notice to that.
