Broken Heart

This picture was taken at Hazrat Shah Jalal (r.a) Mazar-e-sharif Sylhet, Bangladesh. Hazrat Shah Jalal is a celebrated Sufi Muslim figure in Bangladesh. Shah Jalal’s Mazar (tomb) is located in the periphery of Sylhet town. Thousands of pigeons known as “Jalali Kobutor” are lives everywhere in the Mazar. These birds are regarded as sacred due to their association with the saint and never hunted or eaten. At the time of my visit to the Mazar, there were thousands of pigeons flying and eating around but only the one has nothing to do as he/she just lost his world. I just wanted to capture that moment and the feeling of who lost his/her loved one.
