I captured this image in the Okavango Delta region of Botswana early one morning in May, 2023. It had been cold overnight and the brothers walked slowly out into the open field to sit together in the morning sun and warm themselves. I particularly liked how they positioned themselves in tandem. Typically at this time of year, the Delta would have been flooded from the rains in Angola and this field would have been marshland. But, the rains were abnormally low and the flood was late in arriving.
