While sitting on the balcony on the 5th floor at New Smyrna Beach I noticed pelicans flying by. I had never seen a pelican from that view point. They were just gliding along the updraft right at the floor level I was sitting at. I went downstairs, grabbed my camera and spent the afternoon having more fun than I thought possible.
