I spent 20 days in Tornado Alley this year with the goal of getting a really good lightning photo. It did not happen. 3 days after returning home, I saw potential for a storm. I did not go chase the storm, but hoped it might come my way by evening. It did! I picked up my mother, and sat at the last standing grain elevator in my home town, trying to catch a bolt of lightning. And then this happened! It is a shot I have wanted for years, my bucket list shot!
