Buddha in Muchalinda Pond

Part of the Bodh Goya complex is Muchalinda Pond where a statue of Lord Buddha is found. Legend has it that Muchalinda, King of Serpents, protected Lord Buddha during a severe rain storm. The Buddha sits on a lotus plant.
