It was summer of 2016 and I was back in Myanmar visiting my extended family. We took a trip to Bagan to explore the sacred Buddhist sites and this photo was taken in one of the thousands of pagodas that dot the plain of Bagan. Photography on my trips to Myanmar is an important way I connect to my Burmese heritage.
