Can Cau buffalo market is a typical market of ethnic minorities (mainly Giay ethnic group, Mong - Hoa ethnic group) in the northwestern part of Vietnam. located along the road 153 - a unique land road linking Bac Ha town with Si Ma Cai border town, located in Can Cau commune, Si Ma Cai district, Lao Cai province. The market usually meets on Saturdays, holidays, New Year, from early morning to noon. This is also the largest buffalo in the Northwest, Vietnam with hundreds of buffaloes traded in each market.
