While on a mini-adventure in our schoolyard garden with my Pre-K class, I snapped this photo of a bumblebee buzzing into our sunflowers on my iPhone. Creating a school garden fosters wonderful community among our students and family members involved; engages our students in hands-on, integrated learning experiences; and connects us all to nature! The fact that I did not need to alter this photo in any way makes me feel more purely connected.
