Busy main street of Dubrovnik's Old Town

The photograph shows the main street of Dubrovnik's Old Town in Croatia. To the left is visible the tower of the Franciscan Church and Monastery, built in the 1300s, and noted for its cloister and library. Straight ahead is visible the Clock Tower of Dubrovnik, or the Zvonik. What is notable about this photo are the roof tiles, where some are a brighter orange and others are duller - the reason being is that during the Croatian War of Independence, a lot of these roofs were damaged by shelling and the tiles have been replaced. Few of the original tiles remain.
