But, Which way?

I came across this beautiful Peruvian Catholic procession to commemorate the image of "El Señor de los Milagros" (The Lord of Miracles) in the East Village of New York City. The original Brown Christ image was painted in Lima, Peru in the 17th century. Over the next century, it survived several earthquakes that destroyed much of the city. The people of Lima considered it a miracle and they began touring the streets of Lima with a replica of the image of Christ. Now it is one of the most popular religious celebrations in Latin America and is observed by Peruvians in Peru and also celebrated in cities that have a lot of Peruvian immigrants, including New York City.
