The scruffy old lion I have always felt a personal connection to nature. It is a soulful experience, one pursued in solitude but filled with joy and peace. I recently developed a body of work focused on icebergs. There is an urgency to photograph them given the alarming rate at which they are melting. When I saw this small iceberg, it looked like a scruffy old lion, quietly watching life go by.
