The old polar bear I have always felt a personal connection to nature. It is a soulful experience, one pursued in solitude but filled with joy and peace. I recently developed a body of work focused on icebergs. There is an urgency to photograph them given the alarming rate at which they are melting. This small iceberg caught my eye; it looked like an old polar bear ever watchful of the icebergs floating by.
