"Cà phê vợt" - Traditional net coffee

Coffee plays an essential role in the daily life of many Vietnamese people. “Cà phê vợt “ means traditional net coffee has been around for a long time, with numerous coffee shops existing for over more than half a century. The coffee is brewed in a big heated pot then poured into smaller cups to serve local customers. This ‘Net coffee shop” called as Tu Diec Net coffee located in center of Can Tho city, one Southern City of Vietnam near Me Kong Delta river. This type of traditional coffee used still retains a traditional influence on many customers, especially those born in the late 1980s and onwards. It has become a part of local people’s daily life here.
