while visiting the islands of Hawaii i got caught in a hurricane ( hurricane lane). as i was outside a few hours before predicted landfall i looked up and was amazed at how clear and yet chaotic the sky was. the palm trees whipped and moaned with the high winds and the clouds rushed past, but above all that was this beautifully calm night sky. like nothing down here could bother it to look any less beautiful.
