Camelthorn Trees of the Deadvlei - Namibia

900 years ago the river feeding the Camelthorn Trees of the Deadvlei in Sossusvlei Namibia, was re-routed by the shifting dunes. The trees died but have been preserved in the dunes by the arid climate of the Namib Desert.
