From the collaboration with the ballet dancers Virginia Vorraro, Gabriel Capizzi and Yuhao Guo all from the Staatlichen Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Mannheim Inspired by conversations with Roland Olbeter (member of the La Fura dels Baus group), who among other things built the stage design for the Wagner Opera House at La Scala in Milan and had the actors fuse with the stage design through clever projections, Walter Fogel rediscovered the old sandwich technique for himself this time digitally. The ballet dancers, with whom the photographer has been working since 2019, thus become their own stage set by fusing various forms from the plant and animal world.
