20th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Drone/Aerial
Cape Khoboy is the northern tip of Olkhon Island on Lake Baikal.
On a rainy autumn day, there was almost no chance to take a good photo from the air. It was a big risk to fly a copter in almost stormy weather more than a kilometer from the island, but I took a chance.
