Caring for wildlife
Julie, veterinarian, performs an operation on a common buzzard under anesthesia. In France, with road accidents, ecological disasters and poaching, human activity has a heavy impact on the country's biodiversity. Every year in Nantes, more than 2,500 wild animals are rescued by the Centre Vétérinaire de la Faune Sauvage et des Écosystèmes (Veterinary Centre of Wildlife and Ecosystems). From the care given to these injured animals to their rehabilitation in the forest, the mission of a carer at the CVFSE is to repair human errors on nature.
