Man’s best friend, the dog, is increasingly humanized. Small dogs are carried around in bags, dog clothes are in popular demand, even designer clothes. Groomers turn dogs into the most colorful creations. The dog’s diet is being adjusted, some people even feeding their dogs vegan. However we know, from DNA studies, dogs evolved directly from the wolf somewhere around 15.000 years ago. Wolves are clearly carnivores and so are dogs. Their teeth, digestive systems and behavior confirm this fact. For this series I used meat products to give these dogs a human face. The humanization of a carnivore.
