Caruso's Apartment
The great tenor Enrico Caruso's apartment, on the 15th floor of the Ansonia, faces south over 73rd street and Broadway. The ornate arched window is part of the solarium. The Ansonia was built in 1908 and was the first French Belle Epoque style building in Manhattan.
