Cass Mountain Vintage Railroad
One of the Cass Scenic Railroad Shay locomotives pulls into the Cass Railroad station. Equipped with a unique cog drive train, these locomotive were purpose-built to negotiate the step climb through the mountains of West Virginia to loggin sites from which they hauled the timber down to the depot here.
