As the sun was setting on a beautiful day in Alaska, this mother brown bear and her cubs were making their way along a creek, eating sedge grass. I knew with her long blonde fur I'd be able to get a really interesting rim lit shot if I exposed just for the highlights on her fur. I crouched down to get eye level with the bear and began composing some photos. Over the next few minutes the light turned a beautiful golden color and it gave the whole scene a surreal feel.
