18th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Travel
Cathair-eaglais Naomh Giles
The Cathair-eaglais Naomh Giles was founded in the 12th century, and is located in the Old Town of Edinburgh. As I was walking by, I was mainly impressed by the brickwork, and I set out to get a picture in which you're looking up at the imposing architecture. I wanted you to be able to get a sense of the scale without actually being there.
