Cattle in the sun-scorched plains
There was a great quote from Aaron Siskind that reads: “Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever… It remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.” For me, while this shot was taken while in a car, I tried to capture the subtleties of the beautiful landscape the cattle were living harmoniously within. The sun-scorched earth, the dust rising from the arid soil from their movement. Through to the rolling hills of the beautiful Californian landscape.
