Cave Colors

This is the Gua Tempurung, the largest cave of the peninsula Malaysia. This spectacular limestone cave stretches three kilometers into the mountain. The rock is enriched with minerals, marble and calcium. The photo shows the first of five domes of the cave. The incoming daylight at the entrance of the cave is reflected blue and green on the walls. Further back, artificial light provides orange-yellow tones.
