Cecropia moth

Moth eggs! This is a Cecropia moth. They are rare to come across and this pregnant female just happened to land on my car window and I knew I had to get photos! Strange fact the females have no mouth or digestive organs at all! They come from the cacoone to carry out their purpose before dying... mate then lay eggs and pass Away! These guys are also North Americas largest native moth! Cool stuff. So here I photographed the mother and her eggs before she passed.
